6.3  Report to government

At the end of the negotiations, a report should be prepared by the Project Director to the Project Steering Committee and for approval or endorsement of government. This should set out any material changes to the details of the proposal and confirms that the proposal provides a value for money outcome.  It should also confirm that adequate funding is available and that the department or agency recommends that a contract is entered into.
