16.6  Force majeure

In jurisdictions where Force Majeure Events are sustained Relief Events, any Relief granted will cease at the time that the Relief Event becomes a Force Majeure Event, unless otherwise agreed by government and the private party in accordance with the force majeure provisions.56 In those circumstances, the rights of the private party in respect of such Relief Events will be addressed in accordance with Chapter 21 (Force majeure).
