2.  Coverage of the policy and guidelines

The national PPP policy and guidelines and the Partnerships for Growth policy apply to all PPP projects entered into by Western Australian general government sector agencies, unless a specific government decision advises that other provisions will apply.

Application of the policy to the provision of infrastructure by a Government Trading Enterprise (GTE) shall be determined on a project-by-project basis.

The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) is responsible for contributions to the national PPP policy and guidelines and the Western Australian Partnerships for Growth Policy. Any queries in relation to PPPs should be directed to DTF.

Infrastructure Australia (IA) is responsible for the national PPP policy and guidelines. With the assistance of IA, the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) will monitor, review and from time to time refine the national PPP policy and guidance material. COAG is responsible for approving substantive changes to the national policy and guidelines.
